GT Performance

We drove 188 miles (x2) to see this car and were assured it would be ready to go. On arriving we noticed that: 1. There was a hole in the front bumper (2 inch x 1.5 inch) where the headlight washer is supposed to be. On trying the headlamp washer it did not work. 2. The paintwork on the passenger side was bubbly and had a large run in it. We were not told it had been resprayed and possibly in a crash. 3. On the rear ‘A’ pillar there was a dent –we were told the bodywork was perfect. 4. The boot had a nasty scuff and were told this would polish out. 5. On the interior the heater fan did not work at all. A mechanic had a look and said that a resistor had gone???? 6. The passenger sun visor was missing leaving a hole in the headlining with wires protruding. 7. The dash showed that the engine was overdue for a service. 8. The driver display showed that the tyre pressures were low. This is not what we expected after travelling 188miles to look at a £8,500 car. It has cost nearly £100 in fuel both ways. I would not recommend this car dealer as the proprietor is dishonest and tries to sell cars that are not as described.
