Hutchings Vauxhall Pontypridd

Had a very disappointing experience with Hutchings Vauxhall, and would never return there. Booked in our VW Beetle Convertible for a service and brake fluid change. Went to pick up the car, only to learn the brake fluid change wasn't done, and would only be done at a higher price than was quoted. I declined having it changed as just wanted to go after being disappointed. Went outside to quickly look over our car to discover my wife's freshly powder coated alloy wheels were now badly damaged in two places. Obviously very disappointed that they wouldn't except that the damage came on that day whilst in there workshop. They said they would review the security camera to see if it happened there. They said over a week later that it hadn't. When i requested to see the video, they said it was now deleted. Very convenient! I went to Hutchings Vauxhall as they weren't a back street garage, but i would have been better going to a back street garage! Maybe i would've been treated better there. Avoid if you have lovely alloy wheels on your car.

Saw vivaro van low mileage recommended good deal car gurus website alerts . Left £250 reservation . Asked sales for inside rear loading photos .he didnt bother until i asked manager a week later . meanwhile finance approval docs signed applied for in place .After receiving photos i noticed van not suitable .cancelled and asked on the monday for the £250 refunded as we had agreed .Reply .will be in my account in two days .returned 7 days later to find no refund .on top of that received a letter confirming a bill from finance co for £7000+.to pay first payment of van ive not got . advising me when i called them that the garage collected the money from my signature .I said i have not bought the van . It was to be actioned only after me viewing it . The garage had gone ahead while i was away on hol . They betrayed my trust . To add to this .I said i noticed van is back on sale on website without me receiving my refund .they calmly said the van is not on it now as it is sold .so at one point then They have funds for the van twice over . I would be carefull if you intend dealing with this company .as they have caused me tremendous stress. Eric Pritchard
