The most diabolical experience ever. Still not resolved. I was charged twice for the admin fee, which I had to point out. The wrong price of the vehicle was quoted on the order form. Whilst arranging for the car to be delivered I was bombarded with ID checks. Completed an ID check via an App which was fine but then had to send a photocopy of my drivers licence, copies of utility bills, photograph of my bank card and then requested to send a screen shot of my Apple pay card used for the deposit. To top it off, when the car was delivered, the driver said he could not hand it over without seeing me actually access my apartment. None of these requirements are a legal requirement. I was made to jump through all of these hoops to satisfy Prestige cars internal processes and because they had had 2 cars stolen recently - not my problem. Even after pointing out the errors and overcharging twice they still have not resolved it or compensated me. They had even said that their finance department had checked and it was all correct - not the case. Emma, the sale or return manager has flustered and blustered and felt it was okay to throw her sales colleague Richard under the bus by blaming him for some of the issues. It would be nice to think that I would get back the money owed and compensation for the invasion of privacy, inordinate amount of time complying with their process and time spent on the phone continuously pointing out the errors on paperwork, loss of interest on overcharge etc.
