Alfa Romeo extend three year warranty

Alfa Romeo is extending its current three year warranty by a further two years across the MiTo and Giulietta product ranges. The new extended warranty will consist of 36 months unlimited mileage plus a further 24 months mechanical warranty on all Alfa MiTo and Giulietta retail purchases and the additional cover protects the vehicle against manufacturer defects and component faults.

The warranty excludes component failure resulting from wear and tear and does not protect against damage or failures to drive and timing belts, injectors, glow and spark plugs, brake components, filters, piping, windscreen and wiper blades, shock absorbers, tyres, electrical components and clutch.

Damien Dally, Head of Brand, Alfa Romeo UK says, “our strategy for the brand is all about attracting new customers.

However, we appreciate in the current climate consumers are more risk averse and likely to stay with what they know. The Alfa Romeo brand has always had a strong emotional pull but we also have complete confidence in its rational credentials and believe our new extended five year warranty provides the retail car buyer with complete peace of mind.”
