BMW Mini gets a facelift
The BMW Mini has been given a facelift
The BMW Mini has been given a facelift. The exterior has been given more chrome around the front grille together with a revised bumper and LED tail lights. The interior of the BMW Mini has been given a bit of a redesign too. The biggest change is under the bonnet as for the first time the BMW Mini will sneak below the 100g/km of co2 emissions and gets BMW&rsquo s own 1.6 litre diesel engine.
In addition to the high efficiency of the new diesel engine, the new diesel powered BMW Minis employ fuel-saving and emission-lowering technology including Brake Energy Regeneration, Auto Start-Stop, Gearshift Indicator, Electromechanical Power Steering and demand-controlled auxiliary units such as the alternator.
BMW Mini will go digital across the range together with Mini Connected which is a whole new world of connectivity to Mini owners. The revised BMW Mini is on sale in September, prices have not been confirmed but it is likely to be around the £ 13,000 mark.
