With the warm weather approaching you may be thinking the time is right to buy a cabriolet and there is quite a range to choose from. The Volkswagen Eos is a surprise package when considering a cabriolet. Running costs are affordable and the refined free revving petrol engine gives impressive acceleration with composed handling and a well built interior. The Volkswagen Eos features a five piece folding roof with an integrated tilt sliding glass sunroof. To go from open to closed takes just twenty five seconds and can be done via the key fob. The boot capacity for the Volkswagen Eos ranges from 205 litres when the roof is down up to 380 litres when the roof is closed.

The new Audi A3 Cabriolet 1.2 TFSI is available in Standard, Sport and S line specification. The Audi A3 1.2 TFSI boosts combined fuel economy by 9.2mpg to 49.6mpg, and drops CO2 output by 35g/km to 132g/km. Standard equipment on the Audi A3 Cabriolet 1.2 TFSI features a generous equipment list that includes 16-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, powered windows and mirrors.

The new Mercedes E Class Cabriolet is another consideration and is now fun for the back seat passengers as well as the front as Mercedes have fitted their new wind blocker named Aircap. Other added comforts with this latest Mercedes E Class Cabriolet include the Airscarf seat mounted neck warmers which are now movable so you can direct the warm air where you want it. There is also a new seven layer electrically operated hood that keeps the cabin snug and quiet when travelling closed.

Smaller models include the Volkswagen Beetle and the Mini Convertible, there is also the Fiat 500 C Cabriolet, this car features an electronically operated canvas roof that slides back to the cars boot lid. The soft top arrangement allows the C-pillars to stay in place meaning the cars structural rigidity is not affected.
