CarFest 2015 Set To Be Biggest Ever
Our gallery shows what lies in store for the 2015 event
Tickets for Chris Evans’ fourth annual CarFest event are now on sale.
The festival provides motoring enthusiasts with the chance to enjoy a varied mix of music while admiring some of the world’s most impressive cars.
CarFest will be held at venues in Hampshire and Cheshire between July 31 and August 2, 2015.
- CarFest South will take place at Laverstoke Park Farm, Hampshire between August 28 and 30, 2015.
- CarFest North will take place at Oulton Park, Cheshire, between July 31 and August 2.
Proceeds from the event will be going towards the Children in Need charity.
Last year festival goers had the chance to see live music from Simple Minds, Toploader and 10cc as well as many more.
They were also treated to wild animal shows as well as dancing JCB diggers. Some of the pictures from last year’s event are posted in our picture gallery.
The acts which have already been announced so far include The Boomtown Rats, Texas and Midge Ure.
Chris Evans is well known as one of the UK’s biggest petrol heads and is even being tipped to replace Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear should he leave the show.
Evans’ car collection is incredibly impressive.
He has a massive hoard of Ferraris, including a 250GT SWB, a 250 GT Lusso, a 275 GTB quad cam, a 288 GTO, a 308GTS, an F40, a 246 Dino, long and short wheelbase California Spiders (a green one and the black ex-Coburn car), a 599, a new California and a £12m 250 GTO. He also rather famously owns the original car from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
More recently he splashed out £2.27m on a Daytona Spyder.
Camping tickets for the whole weekend cost £142 for adults, with a family ticket only costing £284.
