Citroen C4 Cactus wins green award

Best crossover model

The new Citroen C4 Cactus has won the ‘Crossover’ category in the 2014 Next Green Car Awards. 

Designed to reduce the cost of ownership throughout the life of the vehicle, its winning features include a lightweight design, impressive fuel economy of up to 91.1mpg and CO2 emissions from just 82g/km. Judges commented that the Cactus is a pleasure to drive, has distinctive looks and is zero car tax rated. 

Striking design

The stylish hatchback does boast a striking design and stands out from its rivals. It is available in four colours; Black, Grey, Dune & Chocolate, which can be matched with the ten body colours and three choices of interior trim; Stone

Grey Ambiance, Habana Highlight & Purple Highlight. Fitted to the sides of the car and the bumpers, Airbump® adds a graphic structure to vehicle’s pure, smooth bodylines.

The interior is spacious and features a generous technology offering including: a 7-inch touchscreen; automatic air conditioning; digital radio ; audio streaming;speed limit display; reversing camera; programmable speed limiter and cruise control.

Overall running costs of the C4 Cactus are low compared with others in the compact hatchback segment.  Repair costs are also considerably lower, largely thanks to Citroën’s innovative Airbump® technology.
