Customised Hyundai i10 up for auction

Hyundai built two attention grabbing Hyundai i10's earlier this year to celebrate the World Cup. The Hyundai i10's were produced by car artist Andy Saunders a talented and world famous modifier. The cars have 'grass' bodywork and interior and a giant football on the roof and goal posts fixed to the A-pillars.

One of the two Hyundai i10 football cars built to celebrate the manufacturer's association with the 2010 World Cup is up for sale, and all proceeds are going to charity. The 09-plate city car has been modified to become truly unique and undeniably eye-catching. Prospective buyers are any sports-related business which needs an effective way of advertising or perhaps a really committed football fan. Proceeds of the sale will go to the motor industry charity BEN. 

Bidding will start at just £ 1,995, although it&rsquo s hoped the final total will be at least double this when the auction ends at midday on Tuesday, August 10.

The Hyundai i10 is available with a 1.2 litre engine linked to either a five speed manual or four speed automatic gearbox. This 1.2 litre engine is capable of 0-62mph in 12.8 seconds. A top speed of 102 mph means the Hyundai i10 is capable of keeping up on the motorway. There is plenty of room inside the Hyundai i10 and the majority of materials used are of good quality. All Hyundai i10s have air-conditioning.
