Ford Ka Edge 1.2 From Only £99 Per Month

Ford Ka Edge Low Cost Finance

Happy days - the Ford Ka Edge 1.2 is available via a Personal Contract Hire Plan and a Personal Contract Purchase Plan. Terms for the former include the £2,079 advance rental payment which is followed by thirty-five monthly instalments of £99. This totals £5,544 – after which the car must be returned. There should be nothing else to pay assuming it has been maintained within the manufacturer's guidelines, and that wear and tear is within reasonable limits. Furthermore, this city car must not have travelled more than 9,000 miles per-annum. And that brings us to the Personal Contract Purchase Plan. Payments include the £2,092.01 deposit which complements the first monthly payment of £109 (including £10 finance facility fee). This is followed by twenty-three instalments of £99. At the end of the contract there are three options. One, pay the £4,808 final payment to own the Ka Edge 1.2 outright. This totals £9,296.01 including £566.01 interest (4.9% APR representative) and the £10 purchase fee. Option two is to return it. There should be nothing else to pay assuming it is in fair condition and within mileage (9,000 per-annum). Option three is to part exchange via a second Personal Contract Purchase Plan. Pleasingly, if the Ka is worth more than its final payment the difference contributes toward the replacement's deposit. Just sign-up by June 30th 2013.

Ford Ka Edge 1.2 Review

Happy days - the Ford Ka Edge 1.2 has fantastic handling that makes motoring both entertaining and effortless. As such it corners with confidence, has accurate steering, smooth five-speed manual transmission and a composed ride. It is easily one of the best handling cars in its class. It also has a 69PS petrol engine that propels motorists to 62mph in 13.4 seconds. This is modest but perfectly adequate. Furthermore, this city car's running costs are low as it averages 57.7mpg, sits in insurance group 3 of 50, and can be taxed from year two for £30 thanks to its low emissions (at today's rates). The Ford Ka Edge 1.2 has a pleasing equipment specification too. Highlights include: air-con, power mirrors, electric front windows, the CD player and engine immobiliser. Not bad considering it is only one-up on the entry-level trim. And despite being a city car this workhorse seats four people in comfort and has a 224-litre boot. Throw-in good looks and a fashionable image and it becomes clear why the Ka Edge is so popular. Happy days.
