Four door Aston Martin Rapide

The four door Aston Martin Rapide has hit the road. This is a drop dead gorgeous lithe sports car saloon powered by a rapid 6 litre V12 engine which develops 470 bhp. It can reach 0-60mph in just five seconds.

There are two proper bucket seats in the rear which will fit two adults’ not just tiny children; it is the first four doors Aston Martin saloon since the 1920’s and the first four door to go into series production.

The Aston Martin Rapide can be driven in automatic mode and switch seamlessly to six speed manual using the F1 style touchtronic panels on the steering wheel. Gadgets in the new Aston Martin Rapide include a Bang & Olufsen BeoSound audio and entertainment system as standard. The seats can warm or cool your posterior and there is iPod and MP3 connectivity, sat nav and separate rear air con controls.

With a price tag of approximately £139,950 this Aston Martin Rapide is out of reach for most motorists, those than can purchase will have to be patient as there is a six to twelve month wait for delivery.
