When the car eventually came to a stop, the driver’s door ended up more than 100ft (30m) away. Police investigating the accident are still trying to determine whether the driver was speeding when he lost control on a sharp bend near Brokdorf, just north of Hamburg. The driver was also travelling with a 19-year-old female passenger, both the driver and passenger are reported to have escaped the accident with only minor injuries.

The Gumpert Apollo has 650 bhp, can accelerate from 0 to 62mph (0 to 100kph) in 3.0 seconds and has a top speed of 225 mph (360 kph).

at least the child is alive

Wonder if the insurance was valid?

Lol, this is funny. unlucky pal.

Can you imagine the phone he made to his father..

I'm stunned by the idiocy of this article. The son is an idiot for (obviously) driving dangerously and risking injuring other people whilst showing off to his girlfriend. But I can forgive him that because most of us are idiots at 20 years old.... What the article doesn't say is whether his father gave permission for his son to drive the car. If he did then he's the bigger idiot of the pair. What kind of a fool hands the keys to such a powerful car to his twenty year-old son? Wealth obviously does not equate to intelligence......
