High Street Makes Way For Charity Supercar Pageant

Luxury car dealership H.R. Owen has teamed up with St John’s Wood High Street, London in a charity event that is sure to impress the public.

Luxury car dealership H.R. Owen has teamed up with St John’s Wood High Street, London in a charity event that is sure to impress the public. On Sunday 23rd June, the street will be closed and an array of supercars, activities, fashion and food outlets and a fun fair will entice the British public, both young and old, down this famous road.

On display will be some absolute gems from the automotive world. Former Formula One World Champion, Juan Manuel Fangio’s 1956 Mille Miglia Ferrari will be on show as will another Ferrari, a 250 GT that was driven by British racing driver, Sir Stirling Moss. The Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster owned by ‘Gone with the Wind’ actor Clark Gable, a 1928 Speed Six Bentley and a Rolls Royce Silver Ghost are just a few of the special cars that can be viewed up close.

The event is in aid of Rays of Sunshine, a charity which grants wishes to terminally ill children and The St John’s Hospice. It is free to the public and open from 11.00 - 17.00.
