Infiniti Ignition Event Cuts Cost Of Q30 By £500.
New Infiniti Q30 1.6 MT SE overview, personal contract plan terms and how to save £500 before November 20th 2016.
Manufacturer “challenges” you to explore its range
The Infiniti Ignition Event cuts the cost of every new vehicle in its range by £500 on top of any other existing offers, the manufacturer confirmed. To qualify, simply take a test drive on/before November 20th, 2016. Infiniti teased: “We create cars to challenge convention and we challenge you to try one for yourself.”
The Q30 1.6 MT SE is among the prospects. It is a “premium active compact” model that combines the “sportiness of a coupé with the stance of a crossover”, the manufacturer said. It is 4,425mm long by 1,805mm – which makes it slightly longer than a typical small family vehicle – has 5 doors plus a large 430-litre cargo capacity.
Engine, performance, fuel consumption and emissions
A 1.6-litre, 122PS, petrol engine provides population and a pleasing balance between performance and environmental efficiency. It is teamed with 6-speed manual transmission, sends power to the front wheels only and produces 200Nm of torque between 1,250 and 4,000rpm. Expect 0-62mph in 9.4 seconds plus a top speed of 124mph.
This power plant averages 47.1mpg returns 35.8mpg in town and manages 57.6mpg on the extra-urban cycle. Carbon emissions – that define the cost of Vehicle Excise Duty (road tax) - are 138g/km. Low emission ensures this stylish, comfortable, car can be taxed for £130 in the first year and subsequently (at the current rates).
The Q30 1.6 MT SE has a generous specification that includes a forward collision warning and stops system. If it is travelling too fast toward (say) a stationary car, it warns the motorist via a visual/audible alert. If there is no response, it lifts the throttle then brakes to avoid a collision or mitigate its severity.
Other standard features include the: touchscreen infotainment system, voice recognition, rear parking sensors, electric parking brake, tyre pressure monitor, air-conditioning, alarm, immobiliser, heated windscreen washer jets, daytime running lights and hill-start assist to stop it rolling backwards when moving off on slopes.
Personal contract plan
The Q30 1.6 MT SE is available via a personal contract plan. Terms include 24 monthly payments of £239 plus a deposit – of which the manufacturer contributes £1,500 with 4.99% APR Representative.
The Infiniti Ignition Event also relates to the: Q50 which is the manufacturer's “technologically refined sports saloon”, the Q60 which is its “premium sports coupé”, the Q70 which is a “pulse-racing luxury saloon”, the QX30 which is a “premium active crossover”, the QX50 which is a “compact performance crossover” and the QX70 which is a “formidable crossover force”, Infiniti claimed.
