Infiniti reveal the INFINITI EMERG-E at Geneva Motor Show
Infiniti will be revealing its electric sports car concept the INFINITI EMERG-E at the Geneva Motor Show on 6th March.
The technical specs on the Infiniti Emerg-E haven’t been revealed yet, but it’s expected to be a range-extended electric car similar to the Chevrolet Volt. This means that it will be a plug-in hybrid that has a gas engine that acts as a backup generator. The engine will be mid-mounted for better weight distribution and improved handling, while the electric portion could be similar to the Nissan LEAF’s drivetrain but probably a more advanced battery with greater capacity.
There have been several leaked photos of the Emerge-E which reveal an amazing looking electric supercar hopefully it will push through the concept state to production.
Infiniti, the luxury automotive brand from Japan, reflects its brand promise "Inspired Performance" with a model line-up of sedans, coupés, SUVs and crossovers featuring exhilarating performance, emotive design and cutting edge technology.
