Jaguar E-Type V12 Roadster
Fancy owning a 1974 Jaguar E-Type V12 Roadster.
Fancy owning a 1974 Jaguar E-Type V12 Roadster. Yes? Me too, so shall we fight over it at the H&H Classics Auction on May 24th 2012 at the Pavilion Gardens? This beauty's estimate is only £24,000 - £28,000; which is the price of a Vauxhall Insignia. However, the Jaguar E-Type V12 Roadster is far more tempting thanks to its classic lines, vibrant white paintwork, and 5.343-litre engine. Other prospects include the 1937 Lagonda LG45 Drophead Coupé. This has a 4.5-litre engine, is finished in blue, and is virtually guaranteed to be the most valuable vehicle on your street. Its estimate, after all, is £80,000 - £100,000.Moving to less expensive machinery we find the 1985 Lancia Gamma. This is finished with gold/beige paintwork, and estimated at £2,000 to £3,000. This vehicle certainly screams 1980s – but there is no need to dig out your Culture Club album. Or, how about the 1953 Humber Pullman Limousine? This is one of the most striking vehicles in the auction, and estimated at a surprisingly affordable £3,000 to £4,000. There is also a 1962 Triumph TR4, which could be yours for between £25,000 and £30,000. Very nice, but I fancy the E-Type.
