Jaguar UK sales rise by 50%

Jaguar has revealed that UK sales have risen by 50 percent compared to the same month last year. A total of 1463 cars have been sold. The success has been led by both the Jaguar XK and Jaguar XF models with sales increasing by 78.4 % for the XK and 149% for the XF model.

Geoff Cousins, managing director for jaguar UK said "The success of both the new XF and XK models demonstrates excitement and interest in the new range of Jaguar cars. I am delighted these figures reflect a step forward for Jaguar UK within a challenging market and I expect it to continue when the new XJ joins the line-up in 2010." The Jaguar XF is brilliantly built with wood and leather everywhere, there is an option of a three litre diesel, three litre petrol and a supercharged 4.2 V8 and the new supercharged V8 in the XFR. The Jaguar XF is a classy executive car, but the attention to detail in the Jaguar XF takes this car to the next level. In the UK, retail pricing of the XF range starts at £32,900 for the 3.0-litre petrol. The 3.0-litre diesel model is available from £33,900 while the 3.0-litre Diesel S starts at £36,900.
