Jaguar XF auction

Jaguar auctions first XF in aid of NSPCC on September 7th

Jaguar will donate the first of the new XF sports saloon cars to the NSPCC children's charity.

The XF will be auctioned, with the help of opera trio Elysium, at the Masquerade Ball in Coventry's Ricoh Arena this Friday (September 7). That's a long time before the 2.7-litre diesel Luxury becomes the first XF to roll off the production line next spring, but the winner will be invited to the Castle Bromwich factory to see this happen. The car will also be painted in the colour of his or her choosing.

You don't even have to be at the Ball to take part. Telephone bids will be accepted, and if you're interested in becoming involved in this manner, contact Jaguar's Community Affairs Manager Les Ratcliffe on 01926 649899.

"Jaguar is proud of its long association with the NSPCC," says the company's UK Managing Director Geoff Cousins, "and has worked tirelessly to raise money and awareness of the wonderful work they do to help children all around the UK.

"In donating the world's first customer delivered Jaguar XF, we aim to raise a great deal of money to ensure the NSPCC ends cruelty to children."
