Bentley Personalisation Options

Bentley Motors has launched a wide range of Upgrade Packs that enable motorists to “personalise every detail” of  their vehicles. The Packs come in three categories: “Drive” ( accessories that enhance the driving experience), “Look” (features that optimise the exterior styling), and “Feel” (elements that help  owners feel more connected with their car).

Drivers can identify  which Packs fit their cars via a search tool on the  dedicated website, which looks at  model/year, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or registration. Let us consider a few of the options.

Bentley Continental GT Speed Upgrade Packs

The Continental GT Speed (2014) can have tinted lower bumper grilles, for example. Other “Look” category enhancements include: blue or red brake callipers – with manufacturer branding - carbon fibre lower body styling pack, carbon fibre mirrors, tinted rear lamps and a carbon fibre spoiler.

“Drive” extras include carbon ceramic brakes which offer represent the “greatest braking system of any production car in the world”, the manufacturer claims.

“Feel” type upgrades include the: sports gear lever, sports pedals, deep pile mats plus  different variations of hand stitched steering wheels.

Bentley Continental V8 Upgrade Packs

Continental V8 (2014) “Drive” enhancements include the sports exhaust. Bentley says it “adds greater definition to the exhaust tone” (and produces) “a full-throated roar under hard acceleration.” Carbon ceramic brakes are available too.

“Look” style extras include body colour interior door panels. Their purpose is to “refresh” the cabin and the driver can choose from various stitching based on personal preference and/or the style of the seats. An alternative is a carbon fibre finish on the door panels, dashboard and centre console. Every panel is hand finished.

New Continental GT V8 S Upgrade Packs

New Continental GT V8 S (2014) options include the Blackline Specification. This “Look” feature replaces key exterior chrome exterior elements with a “striking jet black alternative”, the manufacturer says. The finish is present on the headlight surrounds, radiator surround, door handle inserts and lower bodywork trim.

Further impact comes courtesy of the optional tinted rear lighting.

Bentley Continental GTC Upgrade Packs

Older vehicles can be personalised too. Continental GTC (2007) “Look” extras include vented front wings. These inserts sit behind the wheel arches and have a mesh finish. The combination emphasises the car's “sporting lines”, the manufacturer claims.

Further options include the: red brake callipers, blue callipers, tinted rear lights and illuminated tread plates that spring to life as the doors open. Finally, “Feel” category extras include: Bluetooth – that enables a car owner to connect a mobile then make hands-free calls - plus new maps for the existing satellite navigation system.
