New Chrysler Delta 1.4 T-Jet
The new Chrysler Delta 1.4 T-Jet is a Chrysler Delta 1.4 T-Jet.
The new Chrysler Delta 1.4 T-Jet is a Chrysler Delta 1.4 T-Jet. It is not a Ford Focus or a
Volkswagen Golf, and it is not a Vauxhall Astra either. Now, the latest Focus has fantastic
handling, the Golf feels extremely robust, and the Astra looks super-sharp – but these
vehicles are more familiar than political corruption. I was in a hotel last week, and spotted
a dozen of each dumped in the car park. I could also see their owners checking-out early,
as this hotel was less comfortable than a bed of nails. Anyway, the new Delta's 'unique
selling point' is that it is highly distinctive. The styling is like nothing else in the sector, so it
suits those who are bored of the traditional choices and want to stand-out from the crowd.
The Chrysler Delta 1.4 T-Jet has other virtues to complement its memorable looks.
These
include the boot which, with the rear 'seats up', is larger than its three competitors. Cargo
capacity is 380-litres - increasing to 1,190-litres with the seats folded flat. This entry-
level trim also has a fair specification relative to its rivals. Motorists benefit from: air-
conditioning, the electronic stability programme, and four electric windows. The handling is
reasonable too, although the Focus and Golf feel sharper. That is the price of standing-out
from the crowd. That is the price of breaking the mould. The car itself is priced at £16,995.
