'Girls just wanna have Fun' now that may be a famous record by Cindy Lauper but Retro is back in fashion and that means music, clothes and colours especially when it comes to adding bright pink to a car, which to some old fashionistas may be a bit mental but not to modern Facebook and twitter folk.

The young want to enjoy life and spend money and that means a funky loud car is top of the agenda, and Kia have simply catered for the female characters that simply want to say look at me I am here, loud and proud....so read on girlies or boys if you like pink...

A new bright ‘Fuschia Pink’ especially for girlies or not has been added to the Picanto line-up, this colour is available on the five door model on grades ‘2’ and ‘3’. This new colour is available at just £445, standard features with the Kia Picanto ‘2’ model include leather trimmed steering wheel, air conditioning, all round electric windows, Bluetooth with voice recognition and music streaming plus USB and AUX ports. This is a great first car for the new driver as the Kia Picanto is exempt of road tax and congestion charge due to the fantastic 99g/km co2 emissions.

If pink is not your colour then you may well be interested in the new Kia Picanto ‘White’ which is now available on the three door model, this high tech addition to the three door range replaces the top spec Halo and Equinox models. This top of the range ‘White’ is sure to turn heads, on the outside the black tiger nose grille boasts a quirky red surround and the five spoke 15” alloys complete the exterior. The interior has a leather trim steering wheel with mounted controls together with a ‘Hollywood style’ vanity mirror with a three-stage illumination feature sequence and ambient LED lighting. Standard specification includes engine start/stop with smart entry system as well as Bluetooth and automatic air conditioning plus the reversing sensors which are nothing more than pure luxury to those of us that just cannot park!.

This new edition is priced from only £11,745 for the 1.25 84bhp 5-speed manual ISG model and £12,345 for the 1.25 84bhp 4-speed automatic, with both models carrying a Thatcham insurance rating of 11.

The Kia Picanto is backed by Kia’s pioneering seven-year warranty. The seven-year Warranty is simply the ‘longest and best’ warranty available on any car, anywhere in Europe. Clearly, a longer warranty is a better warranty and this gives every Kia owner not just enjoyable motoring but genuine long-term peace of mind.

So don't forget Pink will make the boys wink and White will make the girls like (maybe) so get down to your local Kia dealer and make your own mind up.
