The Peugeot RC hybrid concept will be unveiled in October
Peugeot RC - The ‘RC’ whose full name will be revealed at the Paris Motor Show, is a hybrid concept car created from the passion and expertise of Peugeot’s stylists and engineers.
It is an accessible and versatile car, with four doors, four seats and highly innovative hybrid architecture. It has a ground-breaking new super-green hybrid engine featuring a lithiumion battery that can work with either petrol or diesel. It has a minimal impact on the environment with co2 emissions of 109g/km in the combined cycle of zero in electric mode.
It is a GT coupe and the new design looks extremely well proportioned, with a strong visual presence, there are eye catching twin rear tail lights with a more imposing lion. The shield grille at the front is the focal point with the lion framed by the shield grille which is underpinned by a wide lower grille. The four-door, four-seat coupe introduces a new design face for the range and could preview the next 408 family saloon, production is likely to be within the next couple of years.
