New Ford B-MAX Zetec 1.4 Low Cost Finance

New Ford B-MAX Zetec Finance Offer

Fancy impressing the kids? If so, buy a Ford B-MAX Zetec 1.4 via a low cost finance plan. Payments – that should be taken from the children's pocket money - include the £3,840.22 deposit that precedes the first monthly instalment of £169 (including the £10 finance facility fee). This is followed by twenty-three payments of £159. At the end of the contract there are three options. One, pay the £7,018 final payment to own this family focussed workhorse outright. This totals £14,694.22 including the £10 purchase fee and £844.22 interest (4.9% APR representative). Option two is to return it and make the kids walk home. There should be nothing else to pay assuming it is in fair condition and within its 9,000 mile per-year allowance. Mileage excess, therefore, is charged at 7.2 pence per-mile. Option three is to part exchange via a new finance plan. Pleasingly, if the vehicle is worth more than its final payment - perhaps because it has low mileage and/or exceptionally little wear and tear - the difference contributes towards the newer vehicle's deposit. Just sign the dotted line between October 1 st and December 31 st 2013.

New Ford B-MAX Zetec 1.4 Review

The Ford B-MAX Zetec 1.4 has countless strengths to thrill youngsters. Its rear doors, for starters, slide forwards and backwards rather than opening outwards. Combined with the traditional front doors these create large one and a half meter apertures that are particularly helpful in tight parking bays when kids have to be shoehorned into their seatbelts. This five-seater people carrier also has a 318-litre boot and this cargo capacity can be increased to 1,386-litres by folding the rear seats flat. These figures are impressive considering the vehicle's modest proportions. Furthermore, it is easy to drive thanks to the precise steering and sure-footed chassis. These characteristics complement the 90PS petrol engine that propels tiny people to 62mph in 13.8 seconds. Not fast, but it feels more responsive than this figure suggests. The B-MAX Zetec 1.4 also averages 47.1mpg which is fair for a low-end petrol trim. This workhorse – which feels tough enough to withstand years of family motoring - has a respectable specification too (for the price). This includes: air-con, electric mirrors, MP3 playback and the electronic stability program that contributed to the maximum 'five-star' Euro NCAP safety rating. And that should also impress the kids.
