New Ford Focus wins two Euro NCAP Advanced Rewards

The new Ford Focus has become the first non premium automaker to win two Euro NCAP Advanced rewards

The new Ford Focus has become the first non premium automaker to win two Euro NCAP Advanced rewards. The Ford Focus was recognised for Active City Stop and Lane Keeping Aid. Lane Keeping Aid uses a forward camera to detect if a vehicle drifts out of its lane and applies a small amount of steering input to alert the driver.

There is an impressive new equipment list of high technology features on all new Ford Focus models. Standard equipment across the range includes Ford’s Torque Vectoring Control; this electronic system balances the distribution of engine torque between the driven front wheels to optimise grip and stability irrespective of driving conditions or road surfaces.

Also included as standard equipment across the Ford Focus range are digital radio (DAB), Bluetooth and USB connectivity, voice control of key convenience features, Thatcham Category 1 alarm, Ford Easy Fuel ( to prevent misfuelling), front, side and curtain airbags, ESP, ABS and Isofix child seat attachments.

To complement the new sporty styling, the all-new Ford Focus is offered in two new eye catching colours, Candy Red and Candy Yellow. Prices start at £15,995.
