Did you know... the Hyundai iLoad 2.5 CRDi Comfort makes twenty-five stone Olympic
weightlifters cry with joy? Why? Because it makes their life easy by carrying 1,062kg worth
of barbells, for starters, and these can measure up to 2.5 metres. Cargo capacity is, in
fact, a tear-inducing 4.3m3. That must be enough for even the most emotional athlete.
These muscle maestros can access their equipment easily thanks to the iLoad's twin side
doors. It has rear doors too, of course, and these open to 180 degrees and have privacy
glass to keep prying eyes away from any dumbbells. This complements the full bulkhead
which has a window, and the five year 100,000 mile warranty.
Come now, fight those
The Hyundai iLoad 2.5 Comfort produces 116PS, and a pleasing 343Nm of torque from
1,750 to 2,500rpm. That ensures the iLoad pulls nicely, even laden with iron. Furthermore,
this high-spec Comfort trim is nicely equipped. As such it has: air-con, power mirrors, and
an extra air-bag compared to the entry-level Classic. More tears of joy? The iLoad also
has: central locking, a radio CD/MP3 player, and a USB connection. Prices for the Comfort
trim start at £14,700 plus VAT, registration plates, VED, delivery, and the first registration
fee. That makes it fantastic value for money - but how can we stop the weightlifters crying?
