New Nissan Micra ‘inside and out’

New Nissan Micra on sale in September

Nissan have made some significant updates to the popular Micra and these changes have been made to the exterior and the interior, so a new chapter for the Micra has now begun. If you look at the new Micra the entire face has changed, there is a new grille which sports the Nissan circular badge which is held within a chromed extended V-shaped motif. The bonnet, wings and headlamps are also new as is the front bumper so things are very different. The front fog lamps have a new shape and chrome surround bringing the Micra very up to date.

The changes are obviously not small and are extremely distinctive, the rear of the car has not been left out, and there is a redesigned bumper and new LED tail lamps plus a panel at the bottom of the tailgate. The fantastic new look is finished off with new 15” alloy wheels plus the introduction of machine finished 16” alloys, new colours have also been introduced including a pearl metallic Pacific Blue which is almost turquoise and a metallic Platinum Sage.

Moving onto the interior then more impressive changes have taken place, a fantastic black finish adorns the centre console and there is a great silver look to the gear selector finisher. The instrument graphics ahead of the driver have been improved for greater clarity and the new centre console has restyled air vents. The door armrests have been textured to give a higher quality appearance and there are new seat and door pad fabrics. The Nissan Visia and Acenta grades have a durable tricot mesh woven fabric which is a material often used for sports clothing and the top of the range Tekna models have a suede-like fabric with double stitching. The interior also now benefits from dash-mounted Aux-in and USB slots linked to all audio units while a 12v socket has been added, allowing mobile phones or MP3 players to be recharged on the move with ease.

There is also the change to make the new Nissan Micra more individual with a choice of personalisation options which is offered from Acenta grade, so owners can now specify their preferred colour of wheel centre caps and door mirrors on the exterior, while inside they can personalise their gear knob, air-vent, gear stick surround and velour mats to make their car unique.
