New Renault cars at cost

One North-East England Renault dealer has a new spin on life after scrappage, selling cost price cars

The Renault Twingo Freeway 1.2 3dr, the Renault Twingo Extreme 1.2 3dr and the Renault Clio Extreme 1.2 3dr are all available at cost price.

This generation Renault Twingo is a massive 170mm longer than the original and most of that has been given to back seat passengers and their baggage. The two rear seats can slide to prioritise space for either people or luggage and they also fold flat and then tumble forwards, offering up to 959 litres of space. Other noteworthy features include a centrally mounted instrument cluster and no fewer than eleven storage spaces dotted around the cabin. All Renault Twingo models fall under the manufacturer’s eco2 initiative. The entry level 60bhp version has emissions of just 132g/km and returns 50.4mpg.

The Renault Clio which is also available at cost price drives exceptionally well with light direct steering with a sporty short throw gearshift, it is comfortable and classy and cheap to run. The Renault Clio boasts a class leading overall cabin space with generous head and leg room.

All these models and many more are available at cost price, so even though the scrappage scheme is due to end a bargain is still for the taking.
