New Vauxhall Corsa from £8995
Prices Slashed On Popular Range
One of the UK ’ s best loved small cars, the new Vauxhall Corsa is now more affordable to own – with prices for the new range reduced by up to £ 3,000.
Available to order this week, the new-look range starts at just £ 8,995.
The manufacturer says that quality and equipment have been maintained but keen savings can be had. For example, if you opt for either the Corsa SRi VX Line 1.2i with air conditioning or the entry level SRi VX Line car you will save £ 2970 against the outgoing Sri 1.4. The same applies to the Corsa SRi 1.2i with air con and the entry SRi with a saving of £ 2435.
There are nine trim levels offered: Life, Sting, Sting R, Design, SRi, Excite, SE, SRi, VX and the Limited Edition. All the trim levels have high levels of standard specification. There is also a 1.0 litre ECOTEC engine available in Sting R trim; the powerful engine is capable of 0-62mph in just 10.4 seconds.
The manufacturer has tweaked the popular design with new exterior body panels, to give it greater definition, and a redesigned interior including a new-look instrument panel and dashboard. This includes Vauxhall ’ s sophisticated IntelliLink system, which operates through a 7-inch colour touchscreen, and can be controlled via apps such as BringGo (for navigation), Stitcher and TuneIn (for global radio channels and internet podcasts). The system is compatible with both Apple and Android phones.
In addition to reduced pricing, the manufacturer says that residual values for this popular model are predicted to rise by in excess of £ 1,000 over three years/60,000 miles.
