A new version of Traffic Radio has been launched by the Highways Agency.

A new version of Traffic Radio has been launched by the Highways Agency. The new service will be broadcast live 24 hours a day and will keep drivers up to date with the latest traffic on major roads in England, emergency incidents and road works. As well as offering national coverage the service also offer all the latest information on the roads from regional areas.

Traffic Radio is broadcast live from Birmingham's National Traffic Control Centre, where the presenters have constant access to information from 3,750 road sensors and more than 1,000 CCTV cameras.

The service is currently available on digital radio and online, with the service becoming more widely available over the next 2 years.
