Peugeot 207 SW Allure 1.6 VTi Offer

Peugeot 207 SW Allure 1.6 VTi Just Add Fuel

Peugeot's Just Add Fuel offer makes paying for cars easier than getting frostbite in Antarctica. The Peugeot 207 SW Allure 1.6 VTi, for example, is available via a three-year hire contract for £279 per-month. This includes the: vehicle, insurance, warranty, servicing, roadside assistance, and road tax – hence “just add fuel”. The car is therefore supplied with a tax disc and the motorist receives a cheque to cover the following two years (based on current rates). It is then his/her responsibility to ensure it remains taxed. The 207 SW must then be returned at the end of the term as there is no purchase option. There should be nothing else to pay assuming it is in reasonable condition and not exceeded the 6,667 mile annual allowance. Best not take it to Antarctica, then. To qualify for the Just Add Fuel offer the motorist must have held a full driving licence for two years or more. He/she must also have a two-year no-claims discount (or better) and be no older than seventy-five. The driver must also have a reasonably clean licence but a small indiscretion will not necessarily be a problem. Well, not compared to keeping warm through an Antarctic storm.

Peugeot 207 SW Allure 1.6 VTi Review

The Peugeot 207 SW Allure 1.6 VTi is a supermini class estate - and that is a fantastic formula. Why? Because it has the strengths of a small car – such as being easy to drive thanks to its pint-sized footprint – mixed with a pleasing cargo capacity. Volume is therefore 325-litres rising to 1,258-litres once the rear seats are folded flat. Equally important, it has a boxy rear for items such as furniture. This complements the composed chassis, but the 207 SW is more cruiser than bruiser. Power comes from a 120bhp petrol engine that propels the SW to 62mph - and away from Antarctica – in 10.7 seconds. That is fast for the class. This load-lugger also averages 46.3mpg, manages 57.6mpg on the extra-urban cycle, and returns 34mpg in town. Fuel consumption is therefore acceptable, but unremarkable. Perhaps this compact estate is starting to look its age in this area, but it is capable overall. Standard equipment includes the: panoramic roof, sixteen-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, tinted rear glass, air-conditioning, Bluetooth, MP3 capability, and four electric windows so it is nicely equipped. Right, who fancies a jaunt to Antarctica?
