Peugeot RCZ Auctioned For Children in Need

A new Peugeot RCZ has been auctioned to raise money for Children in Need.

A new Peugeot RCZ has been auctioned to raise money for Children in Need. The beautifully crafted two-door coupé sold for £25,000 at the 'An Evening With the Stars' event in London. It is finished with gleaming white paintwork and has a jet-black 'double- bubble' roof to make it stand-out from the crowd. No doubt its owner will also enjoy the super-sharp handling, stunning looks, and high performance of this mighty machine. And why not? This fashion statement is one of the most distinctive cars on the market and – much like the classic Mini – has a classless appeal. It is a fun-focussed car for fun people.

Andrew Didlick, Director of Communications at Peugeot, said: “Peugeot supports a number of charities throughout the year, so it is great to be involved with BBC Children In Need this year; it is the people’s charity, with the funds helping so many disadvantaged children right here in the UK. We hear some great stories of what the nation is up to, the imagination of the UK knows no bounds, and we wanted to join them in supporting this great charity.”

David Ramsden, BBC Children in Need Chief Executive, added: "It is fantastic to have Peugeot on board, helping us to raise money that will help change thousands of young lives right across the UK."

The BBC Children in Need live show kicks-off on November 18th 2011.
