Seat have a record breaking April

Seat sales beyond expectations

Seat UK have registered a record breaking 3983 sales in April which is more sales than any other April in the history of the company. Director of Seat UK Neil Williamson says “it’s the combination of great products and a very hard-working, dedicated team that has made 2013 such a successful year for Seat so far. We’ve now got the most exciting and most complete product range we’ve ever had, and with the new Leon SC due imminently, and the ST estate later this year, it’s getting even better. But nothing actually sells itself, no matter how good, so alongside great cars we’ve also got a dealer network with a massive amount of enthusiasm and with more focus on customer service than ever. We believe that no brand offers the combination of quality, style and affordability that Seat does, which is why we’re confident that 2013 will be a record-breaking year for us.”

The new Seat Leon is the first family hatchback to offer full LED headlights and it seems the buying public have been impressed as to their benefits as the requests for the LED’S which are optional on the SE and FR models have been extremely high. The Seat Leon technology pack is very affordable which attributes to its success, the pack bundles the LED’s with satellite navigation and DAB digital radio normally these three options together would cost £1915 but it is available until the end of June for only £500.

Third generation Seat Leon

The third generation Seat Leon is equipped with start/stop technology for greater efficiency; with a wide range of petrol and diesel engines offered to suit every taste and budget. The new Seat Leon is the most advanced car that Seat has ever produced and a landmark for the Spanish company. This new model is a welcome boost to the market as it boasts a co2 rating of just 99g/km making it exempt from the annual vehicle excise duty plus the impressive 74.3mpg means there will be fewer trips to the fuel station which is something we all find refreshing.

While new Leon sales form a significant part of the April sales tally, making up over one-quarter of the total, other models that account for the months success include the Ibiza, the Toledo, Altea, Exeo and the Alhambra. All these models have exceeded all sales expectations.
