SEAT partners with ‘Carols in the City’ for Christmas

The new Seat Toledo played its part in helping the Marie Curie Christmas fundraiser in London.

The new Seat Toledo played its part in helping the Marie Curie Christmas fundraiser in London. The Toledo was used to transport celebrities and VIP to the Marie Curie ‘Carols in the City Concert’ and even though the Toledo wouldn’t be your first thought for a chauffeur car it stepped up to the mark and impressed all the passengers.

Seat Fleet & Business Sales Marketing Manager Peter Brooking said: “we were delighted to get the opportunity to help Marie Curie Cancer Care put on this amazing event by providing the new Toledo model for the celebrity participants. The Toledo is perhaps not the most obvious choice for a VIP chauffeur car, but we were absolutely confident it would do the job with aplomb and our confidence was well placed. That the Toledo, which has a compact footprint and a great value price, could act as transport for the VIP guests at such a prestigious event is testament to its quality and versatility of interior space.”

Ariane Buteux, Marie Curie Cancer Care Celebrity and VIP Manager, said “it was wonderful to partner with Seat for Carols in the City. We were delighted the company was able to donate its new Toledo cars on the night and I know all involved were impressed by the professionalism of the service and warmth of the drivers. Working with the Seat team meant I could be safe in the knowledge that our celebrity supporters would arrive relaxed and on time for our festive Christmas fundraiser”.

The new Seat Toledo range went on sale on the 1st December; it is certainly one of the most efficient cars on the market today. It boasts outstanding low running costs because of its excellent fuel economy and low Co2 emissions, and insurance ratings are extremely reasonable whatever version is chosen. The most efficient is the 1.6 TDI Ecomotive version which returns impressive 72.4mpg and 104g/km Co2 emissions. The S versions have outstanding specification including air conditioning, Bluetooth hands free, USB port, steering wheel mounted audio controls, remote control locking and a split folding rear seat bench. The Toledo is also one of the safest cars on the road as it was awarded a five star safety score from Euro NCAP with a high score of 94% for adult occupant protection and 80% for child occupants.

Priced from just £12,495 it really is one of the best models on the road today.
