Skoda will present the new Citigo subcompact to the public as a five door version for the first time at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show
Skoda will present the new Citigo subcompact to the public as a five door version for the first time at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. Both the three and five door version will be launched in European markets from mid May.
The Skoda Citigo is the ideal car for in out of the city and has generous interior space which is unusual in a city car. The Citigo seats four passengers and the boot is spacious at approximately 251 litres which can be extended to 951 litres by folding.
Powering the Skoda Citigo is a three-cylinder petrol engine with one litre of displacement in two versions with 44 kW/60 hp or 55 kW/75 hp. In its most efficient Green tec variant, the new Citigo achieves a mileage of 4.1 l/100 km and CO2 emissions in the new Skoda model amount to just 96 g CO2/km.
The new Skoda Citigo city car has received the highest possible rating in its class from Euro NCAP winning the car the top score of five stars in the Euro NCAP crash test.
