The Skoda Yeti was honoured two more awards bringing the versatile SUV’s trophy haul to six for this year.

Robert Hazelwood, Skoda brand director, said the Yeti had had an astonishing year by any standards. “These two awards from the specialist 4x4 press are the icing on the cake for 2011. Their experts have put the Yeti through rigorous off-road tests as well as more traditional ones and I’m thrilled they appreciate the car’s strengths. The Yeti is an astonishingly versatile vehicle and there’s plenty more to come from it in 2012.”

The Skoda Yeti is available with a choice of two petrol and three diesel engines. The luggage compartment volume is highly flexible; up to 1,760 litres is available by removing the rear seats. A luggage cover and net as well as lashing rings are available to secure any load. The 4x4 variants are characterised by outstanding off-road ability and excellent traction, coupled with low emission values and fuel consumption.
