Supercar Lexus LFA sells out

Lexus announced the production of 500 supercars back in October and there has been a resounding success as all 500 Lexus LFA's have sold out. It is a very impressive result as Lexus have no previous history of producing supercars and the launch price was approximately £330,000.
The Lexus LFA is powered by a bespoke, high-revving 552bhp 4.8-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine, matched to a rear-mounted six-speed sequential automatic transmission, giving 200mph-plus performance. It can achieve 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds and is capable of a top speed of 202mph. Owners are able to choose from an extensive range of options to personalise their car.
In the words of Chief Engineer Haruhiko Tanahashi: “The Lexus LFA is a thoroughbred supercar, a machine engineered to achieve a single goal, to deliver a supreme driving experience. Over the past decade we have pushed every boundary in pursuit of this goal and I believe we have created the most driver-orientated car we possibly could.” European buyers have snapped up one third of the Lexus LFA’s produced and approximately ten are thought to have been ordered by British customers.
