The All new Volkswagen Sharan

The all new Volkswagen Sharan made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show. This new model is longer and wider than the model it replaces. The Volkswagen Sharan is a well thought out high quality big car that appeals to family buyers.

Access to the rear seats in the new Volkswagen Sharan is granted via a pair of sliding doors that can along with the tailgate be specified with electric motors to operate automatically. The centre row features three individual seats that can be moved back and forth if required and when not in use can be folded to create a load backspace. The third row of seats is large enough to accommodate adults as well as children and as with the second row can also be folded flat when not required.

The new Volkswagen Sharan is the most advanced people carrier Volkswagen has ever produced, to improve efficiency all models except the 200 PS variant feature Stop-Start and regenerative braking systems as standard.

Following its debut in Geneva the new Volkswagen Sharan will go on sale in the summer and prices are thought to be around £21,000.
