Hollywood stars drive eco-friendly cars

The Toyota Prius is one of the most popular eco friendly cars and is a firm favourite of the Hollywood stars. Cameron Diaz, Robin Williams, Ewan McGregor, Gwyneth Paltrow and Thandie Newton are some of the Hollywood stars that have purchased a Toyota Prius. Leonard Di Caprio has also been spotted driving his Toyota Prius.

Toyota have made the Toyota Prius more refined, more spacious, more dynamic and most importantly more fuel efficient and less polluting.

The co2 emissions are so low that its company car tax rate is just 10% while the official average fuel economy is 72.4mpg. The Toyota Prius is capable of 0-62mph in 10.4 seconds and has top speed of 112mph. The interior of the Toyota Prius manages to balance the futuristic concept car feel you’d expect from a technologically advanced car with a large helping of real-world usability.

These celebrities are at the forefront as environmentally conscious fuel friendly cars are the new standard. Toyota sold its one millionth Toyota Prius in April of 2008 and the demands continue.
