Volkswagen up! BlueMotion wins ‘Next Green City Car 2012’

The Volkswagen up! BlueMotion has been awarded the Next Green City Car 2012. The Volkswagen up! is available with two 1.0 litre three cylinder petrol engine options as well as a BlueMotion technology version. It has three doors and three trim levels. Standard specification for the entry level Take up! includes body-coloured bumpers, daytime running lights, front and side head/thorax airbags, the new RCD 215 CD radio with aux-in, rear ISOFIX points, and 14-inch steel wheels.

Blue Motion models are priced from approximately £9,330 and have automatic stop-start and battery regeneration during braking. The special edition Up! Black and Up! White is based on the High Up! trims but with special paint, chrome door mirrors, wider wheels and tyres, carpet mats and stripes upholstery.
