  • Lexus Is Saloon
    3.9 out of 5 - 32 Ratings
Apost Left The Lexus IS is a compact executive saloon that rivals the BMW 3 Series, etc. Power comes from the 2.5-litre 204bhp V6 and the 2.5-litre 178bhp four-cylinder hybrid engines. These propel motorists to 62mph in about 8 seconds and average 30mpg and 60mpg respectively (approximately). The latter is impressive as is the range's confident handling, striking bodywork, and comfortable interior. There is also the 5.0-litre 417bhp V8 F trim that hits 62mph in 4.8 seconds and has a stiffer set-up than its siblings for sportier handling. All have smooth auto transmission and lots of equipment. Nice left-wing choice. Apost Right
  • Lexus Ct Hatchback
    3.6 out of 5 - 6 Ratings
Apost Left The Lexus CT according to its manufacturer is the world's first full hybrid luxury compact car. It therefore has a 1.8-litre petrol engine and an electric motor that provide reasonable performance. It is far from fast, though. This automatic also averages about 70mpg and can be taxed for free thanks to its low emissions. The handling is competent too, but models with bigger wheels ride harder than some people like. The fashionable badge, solid build, large hatchback-style boot and pleasing equipment levels compensate. Apost Right
  • Lexus Gs Saloon
    4.3 out of 5 - 15 Ratings
Apost Left The Lexus GS is a medium-size saloon that rivals the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. The latest generation is supremely comfortable, pleasant to drive, and fast. The GS range is, after all, powered by a 2.5-litre 206bhp V6 engine and a 3.5-litre 286bhp V6 hybrid. It is beautifully equipped too. High end trims therefore have: active suspension with selectable modes, eighteen-way electrically adjustable seats, and cornering lights. This beauty which has striking styling suits those keen to side-step its more common rivals. Apost Right
  • Lexus Rx 4x4
    4.1 out of 5 - 27 Ratings
Apost Left The Lexus RX is a large four-wheel-drive powered by a 3.5-litre, 295bhp, V6 petrol engine and an electric motor. These are teamed with silky-smooth automatic transmission. The result is 0-62mph in 7.8 seconds which is fast for such a big car. Handling characteristics vary according to the trim as some have a sportier set-up than others. The range, however, is generally nice to drive even though some versions have a hard(ish) ride. The RX can also master tougher terrain. All trims have plenty of equipment and feel well built. Apost Right
