The Kia Picanto City... is it more fashionable than the world's skinniest supermodel? It
thinks so, as the 'City' is one of the 'Original' trims. These, Kia say, 'stem from the idea of
a fashion collection being frequently updated with distinct styles and personalities'. Would
you like that in English? It means it has a few extras. Highlights include the: red grille,
fourteen-inch alloys, chrome door handles, heated door mirrors, and front fog lights. All
this is wrapped-up with either Blaze Red or Bright Silver metallic paint. How fashionable,
darling. Interior toys include: air-conditioning, the premium seats, leather steering wheel,
and LED lighting that creates a fashionable environment.
Plus, every style lover needs a
Hollywood-look vanity mirror with three-stage illumination before strutting onto the catwalk.
The Kia Picanto City is powered by a 1.0-litre 68bhp, three-cylinder, petrol engine. This
propels its power through five-speed manual transmission which helps the Picanto reach
62mph – and the catwalk – in 13.9 seconds. Not fast, but fast enough. This follower of
fashion also averages a pleasing 67.3mpg and is road tax/congestion charge exempt
thanks to rock-bottom carbon emissions of 99g/km. The Fashion Police must be thrilled.
But there is more. The Picanto also has respectable handling to make life comfortable, five
seats for convenience, a fair 200-litre boot for shopping, and a seven year warranty for
peace of mind. Prices start at £10,245. What a small sum to pay for looking stylish, darling.
