  • Vauxhall Corsa Hatchback
    3.8 out of 5 - 124 Ratings
Apost Left The Corsa has been one of Vauxhall's most popular cars for over 30 years. It has appealed to many owners, both young and old. The current face-lifted version has the biggest boot space in its class with seats folded down, and although the smaller engines have great fuel economy and low CO2 emission, they lack grunt so midrange engine ones are better. For those wanting more a bit more power then the Corsa VXR is the hot hatch to go for. Apost Right
  • Vauxhall Astra Hatchback
    3.8 out of 5 - 204 Ratings
Apost Left As a rival to the Volkswagen Golf or Ford Escort, the Astra has been around since 1980. Six generations later it continues to be a highly successful small family car. It struggles with heavy depreciation though and is priced more than the Renault Megane. It has acquired 5 stars in the Euro NCAP safety tests though and if you want something slightly larger, then there’s the Astra Sports Tourer. Apost Right
  • Vauxhall Zafira Mpv
    3.9 out of 5 - 110 Ratings
Apost Left The seven-seater Zafira is now into its third generation, having been on the roads for nearly 15 years. The popular MPV is extremely practical being able to seat so many, but also the third row of seats can be folded into the floor to make more space. With a wide engine choice, it has become a firm favourite amongst families and is now called the Zafira Tourer. Apost Right

  • Vauxhall Astra Coupe

  • Vauxhall Insignia Saloon
    3.9 out of 5 - 99 Ratings
Apost Left Its nearest rival is the Ford Mondeo and although the latter beats it in the driving stakes, interior and build quality is much improved, with a face-lifted version due out this year. A range of diesel engines named ecoFLEX were released in 2009 to offer less CO2 emissions and improve fuel consumption. There is also the Insignia Sports Tourer and the more powerful and exciting Insignia VXR to add to the lineup. Apost Right
