That is not the reason to buy a 500, however, as an Arbarth is not within my price range. It's " snazzy " and okay within the small car range. I like minis and have had many but the substantial BMW build ensure much tyre wear, more fuel costs and much more expensive to buy. A 500 is pretty, fairly cheap and ideal for myself as l have access to bigger cars. Surprisingly not too bad for motorway use. "|

Handling ok though not too keen on bumpy corners taken at speed, not much body roll and grip level on smooth corners is good.space inside is good for size will fit 4 adults at a push and fine for kids.Driving position v.good easy to see out of and park and stereo(6 speaker)is excellent.only niggles quality of paintwork/electrics.Auto box works fine and easy to override if you wish, only issue being failure to start on 3 occaisions when gearbox would not select neutral thus preventing the starter motor from engaging.Fixed under warranty and been fine since.Overall highly reccomended makes a great second car and i suspect a good car for new drivers too.
