|13/10/2016 15:50:06 Mr Garrity " The car has lots of additional specs. but lacks some basics. It looks a big car with a big boot but deck chairs that used to fit in to my Mondeo estate won't fit in it's boot. The reflection of the dashboard on to the windscreen is more than cars I have driven in the past and there is a reflection of the air vents in the wing mirrors. The indicators won't turn off on the straightening of the steering wheel unless it is a full junction you have just come out of it. Therefore after going around a roundabout you have to turn them of yourself. The specs are good although there is no CD player but you rely on the Bluetooth from your phone etc. The engine is only a 1.6 in a largest car therefore acceleration in low revs is not good but much better when it is in high revs. The drive is generally good and very comfortable and for the car is reasonable value for it's price and you get a 7 year warranty. The performance is noticeably less and is highlighted when climbing a hill on the motorway. The diesel version took the acceleration in it's stride and I had no problem deciding to overtake. The petrol version has very little acceleration in the same situation on the same stretch of motorway. It is a lovely car and the finish is great, but the running costs will be higher. Diesel returned 39 MPG over the four years, so far the petrol engine has only returned about 29MPG, so that is disappointing I must say. "|
