|20/09/2016 17:46:48 Alan Hirst " A good looking car, Well built, good interior materials and finish and very roomy and versatile with the extra 2 seats in the back suitable for adults on short journeys or children for longer trips. Se Tech Auto is very well specified and is probably the sweet spot in the range when looking at spec v. pricing. It has had a faulty seatbelt sensor fixed under warranty plus a safety recall, but both were sorted quickly by an excellent local LR franchised dealer and it hasn't detracted from the overall experience. It has very good handling for a 4x4 and the ride quality is excellent on standard 18" wheels (but apparently less so on larger wheels), with the bonus that you absolutely know it will go anywhere if you do need it to. It makes a great long distance cruiser, the only criticism being the smaller than usual fuel tank of 50 litres due to additional space being required for the Adblue tank. All-weather tyres also add to overall safety and security when the weather conditions deteriorate. Running costs are also very reasonable for this type of car - £130 road tax and an average mpg achieved of just over 40mpg, plus reasonable insurance costs. In summary I'm very happy I made the decision to but this car and intend to keep it many years. "|
