Great new car offers with superb deals on every model of green or hybrid car. Japanese manufacturers have a lead in the market in hybrid cars. The Toyota Prius is the worldwide best seller in this market, but has a price premium over the Honda Insight.

Green doesn’t just mean hybrid. Many petrol and diesel cars have very low emissions, with those under 100g/km of CO2 like some of the VW Golf Bluemotion and the Ford Fiesta Econetic new cars being exempt from road tax and doing over 70 miles per gallon. Only the hybrid models are exempt from the London Congestion Charge though, so the Prius and Insight win on that score, saving London users £1000’s per year.
