I find the DSG also a little unrefined compared to an auto, but it saves fuel and not sure a 1.2 could cope with a traditional torque converter. You learn to use sport mode to pull away and put it back in drive once you get going again. The DSG has also failed to engage from time to time, often when pulling out from a junction which could be dangerous. The steering is precise and the car handles quite well for a front wheel drive. Plenty of grip for most purposes. The standard steering wheel is a little hard after a while. The Sport version might be better as I think it is softer. "|
