Used Hyundai For Sale
Hyundai has survived its infancy, matured through a tricky adolescence, and emerged into the adult world a thing of beauty. As such, it has established itself as a capable competitor of the better known brands such as Citroen, etc. Second-hand highlights include the Hyundai Getz (2002 to 2009) which suits new drivers as it is cheap to buy and insure (even for spotty adolescents). This supermini is also fairly pleasant to drive even though it can feel a little bouncy. However, the Getz is now outclassed by newer town cars such as the Hyundai i10 and i20 which are also easier to find on the used market. Moving through the range we find the Hyundai i30 Hatchback (2007 to 2011) which is a small family class vehicle. Strengths include the confident handling and five-door practicality that make life easier than a weekend on the beach. Furthermore, as this beauty has been replaced by the new Hyundai i30 Hatchback its second-hand prices are temptingly low. And remember, many are still covered by the manufacturer's five-year warranty that comes as standard on all its cars. Both i30 models are also available in estate form that have very large boots for the class. The Hyundai i40 Tourer/Saloon are also fantastic - but as they are fairly new to market they cost a pretty penny (ask Penny).
The Hyundai Santa Fe (2006 to 2012) represents the manufacturer's adult status too. Why? Because strengths include a four-wheel-drive system that can plough through tough terrain, a strong diesel engine, excellent on-road handling, and the option of seven seats (in certain forms). The good news is that this lifestyle statement has now been replaced which, inevitably, makes it more affordable on the second-hand market. The new Santa Fe is even more capable but it is comparatively hard to find used examples. Hyundai's four-wheel-drive range also includes high-spec versions of the ix35 (2010 onwards). Early examples have depreciated from fairly high new prices so they are now within reach of everyday motorists. The manufacturer has also produced people carriers such as the i800 (2008 onwards) plus sporty little numbers such as the Veloster (2012 onwards) and the Coupe (2002 to 2009). All these machines have an unquantifiable x-factor and suit those that want reliable, no-nonsense, transport for sensible money. Let us hope this brand never moves beyond adulthood into dull old age.
