Used Kia For Sale
Disgraceful, shameful and ridiculous - some people have still not had a proper look at Kia. That is a crime of monumental proportions. Why? Because for the last few years it has produced cars that in some cases match or exceed the capabilities of their better known rivals. These include the Kia cee'd Hatchback (2007 to 2012). This small family workhorse - as well as having a name spelt with a small 'c' and apostrophe - has solid handling, lots of equipment, a spacious cabin and better than average looks. Furthermore, it can be purchased for very little money on the second-hand market - although limited numbers ensure it is not the easiest car to find. How disgraceful. Buyers that can stretch to late examples also benefit from the remainder of the seven year manufacturer warranty. This, of course, suggests confidence in the product. The cee'd is also available in estate form (badged SW) that has a monstrous cargo capacity for a small family class vehicle. In fact, it shames estates from more prestigious and expensive classes. Better still, the 2012 cee'd Hatchback and Estate (now badged Sportswagon) exceed their predecessors' strengths so there is no disgrace, shame, or ridicule in having one.
And there is more. The Kia Picanto (2004 to 2011) is a city car that suits newly qualified drivers. Qualities include the pint-sized proportions and light steering that make manoeuvring easy, plus the sensible running costs that come courtesy of fairly low insurance group ratings and modest fuel consumption. The latter, of course, ensures that carbon emissions are low which influences the price of road tax. There is nothing disgraceful, shameful or ridiculous about that. This run-around also has a fairly spacious cabin/boot for such a compact car. Early examples can be picked-up for pennies on the second-hand market and - if properly maintained, etc. - should have plenty of life remaining. However, this vehicle is eclipsed by the 2011 Picanto that is more refined and better looking. It is also far safer in the event of a collision. The Kia Picanto is joined by the Kia Rio (2005 to 2011) which is a larger supermini class vehicle. This shares its brother's credentials but feels a cut above. Kia has also produced people carriers such as the 2013 Carens, sporty little numbers such as the 2013 cee'd GT, and sleek saloons such as the 2012 Optima. There is nothing 'disgraceful, shameful, or ridiculous' about that lot.
