Mercedes-Benz Used Cars For Sale
Mercedes-Benz is one of "those" brands - one that makes people fall to their knees and thank their favourite deity they have a driving licence. Why? Because the three-pointed star screams prestige, oooooooooooooozes charm, and makes the neighbours' blood boil with jealousy. How pleasing that some of these cars - even the more prestigious examples - can be picked-up for reasonable sums once they are a few years old. Highlights include the Mercedes-Benz C-Class that comes as a sleek saloon and a more spacious estate (2000 to 2007). This lifestyle statement has striking looks, confident handling, and is more comfortable than a memory foam mattress. It is mechanically strong too. Furthermore, the 2002 to 2008 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Saloon is larger and the muscular styling makes it look imposing. This beauty is pleasant to drive and high-spec versions feel more luxurious than an ocean liner. There is also the estate that has a vast cargo capacity. More expensive - but exceptionally good value - is the S-Class Saloon which takes on the best from Jaguar, BMW and Lexus. (1999 to 2005). This beast is favoured by heads of state and business folks as it has every conceivable luxury. Great.
The 2005 to 2012 A-Class, in contrast, is less prestigious as its new prices were comparatively low. It was, in fact, the manufacturer's cheapest vehicle. This small family workhorse has (shall we say) unusual styling, is relatively nice to drive and - most importantly - sports "that" fancy badge. However, it is a far cry from some of its siblings in terms of refinement. Second-hand prices tend to be sensible, particularly since its far superior replacement was launched in 2013. It therefore suits those on a budget that want a fairly new car with a fashionable badge. The A-Class complements other family cars such as the larger B-Class (2005 to 2011) and the R-Class (2006 to 2012). The latter is available with five, six, or seven seats but can be hard to find as it was not a big seller. Mercedes-Benz has also produced four wheel drives such as the M-Class (2005 to 2011). Prices are strong as it is supreme on the road and capable over rough stuff. The 1997 to 2012 G-Class, in contrast, is less refined on tarmac so can be hard work. Other used bargains include convertibles such as the SLK Roadster (2004-2011) and coupes such as the CL (2007 onward). So, shall we thank our favourite deities for this fantastic brand?
